Walkerton Cut Glass: The Central Cut Glass Co.

Let's go back to the early years of Walkerton, Indiana. Back to 1910 when "a committee of three gentlemen" from a Chicago cut glass factory came to Walkerton to scope out locations for a new cut glass factory. This is the beginning of Walkerton's Central Cut Glass Company and nine years of industrial enterprise for Walkerton and its citizens. While fairly short lived, during the years it was there it left an impact on the town that will not soon be forgotten.
